It's apple-picking time. Myles and his family drive to Grandma and Grandpa's apple orchard to help them pick the fall harvest. They climb ladders into the apple trees and gather bushels of Red and Golden Delicious, McIntosh and Pippins, Gravensteins, and the funny-sounding Winter Banana. Grandma surprises them with fresh cider and pie. The next day is apple-selling time, complete with applesauce for breakfast and apple dumplings for supper.
