Jamaica is hurt when her older brother Ossie won't let her play basketball with him and his friends. Later, Jamaica gets angry when Berto, a younger boy, accidentally kicks the sand castle she is building. But when she remembers how sad she was when her brother excluded her, and she encourages Berto to help her. Finally, Ossie asks to join them, and they all work happily together.
